Zynga is the developer behind popular titles such as the Farmville series. With May in full swing, Zynga was among many companies to release its first quarter results this week. In addition to looking at its performance in the first quarter, the developer also announced a new acquisition. Zynga announced its acquisition of Chartboost, a mobile advertising company.
Zynga made its announcement via an official press release. It’s here that the company says it expects the deal to be formally concluded in the third quarter of this year. “With its talented team, Chartboost brings a global audience of over 700 million monthly users and over 90 billion monthly ad bids,” the statement said. Zynga will pay around $ 250 million to acquire Chartboost.
