The Razorbacks are fourth in the Carmel Cup

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. – The No. 22 Arkansas women’s golf team completed the second set of the Carmel Cup, going a par-six on the day. Fourth-place Arkansas is +17 in two rounds, just one stroke behind third-place Oklahoma State. Julia Gregg paced the Razorbacks on Saturday with a 1-under 71, while Reagan Zibilski leads the Hogs after two days of action, sitting tied for eighth.

The Razorbacks got off to a great start with eight birdies in total in the front nine. Holes 10 through 14 gave the team a tough time, but the Hogs finished the round strong with six birdies in the final four holes.

Gregg had a great performance in the second round, shooting a 1-under 71 to move up 15 spots to now tie for 23rd. The senior collected three birdies and just one double bogey for a solid round. Zibilski followed with an even score of 72 to move up six spots and lead the Hogs to a tie for eighth after two rounds.

Kajal Mistry made some moves in the second round with a 1 of 73. The senior jumped seven places and is tied for 23rd with two other Razorbacks. Newcomer Kendall Todd topped 4 today and tied with Mistry and Gregg for 23rd place.

Miriam Ayora picked up where she left off yesterday, recording four birdies and just one bogey in the first 11 holes. Despite some issues in holes 12-16, Ayora was able to finish hole 18 with her fifth birdie of the day to finish 2 over par in the second round. Ayora is tied for 12th with a 146 in the second round. Ela Anacona shot 5 times on Saturday and sits 22nd in round three.
