RM from Pipestone launches modern marketing campaign

True to what their community has to offer, the municipality has put talent to work to showcase it.

“Pick Pipestone” is the title of a creative marketing campaign that will showcase the entire Rural Municipality of Pipestone.

On the Pipestone Facebook RM, you can watch a 14-video trailer featuring hosts Janelle Campbell and David Moore as they introduce the project. They are both residents of the MR of Pipestone and will continue to be the hosts with new faces in future videos.

Each video is approximately one minute to 90 seconds long. They hope these videos will engage people and learn more about the community.

A community that offers everything a person would need such as a hardware store, gift shop, auto services, grocery store, postal service, pharmacy and more, you would think this was a town due of all the amenities and services available.

“We are very proud of what we have accomplished and we want to continue welcoming our dedicated community and anyone considering the opportunity to relocate to our area,” said Tanis Chalmers, Director of Economic Development for the MR of Pipestone.

The RM of Pipestone seeks to improve and expand her close-knit community by posting a one-of-a-kind video series in the public eye on social media. “There will be a total of 14 videos that will be released over the next few months,” Chalmers said. “We hope to increase the popularity of the community by revealing our exceptional programs and services through these videos. We have so many advantages in living in the RM of Pipestone that we want to focus on attracting the outside population and letting them know what we have to offer.

She argues that the rural water pipeline that provides fresh, clean, high-quality drinking water is a great asset to the community. “Affordable taxes are definitely a calling card and at $ 10 for residential land, I hope that would be a huge incentive for anyone considering a move,” Chalmers adds. “There has been a substantial increase in population, thanks to the low property taxes that we are able to provide. I hope this trend will continue in the years to come.

She would also like people to know that there are rural properties in the municipality for those who like to live in the countryside. “We are continually adding modern and progressive services and are happy to report that our high-speed fiber optic has made things much easier as we adapt to an ever-changing technological world. The community really likes having fast internet access.

The agriculture and oil industries in the RM of Pipestone provide business development opportunities that Tanis says strengthens the community and gives people a more stable and reassuring reason to settle and stay in the area.

“We see a lot of people from other communities coming to visit us because we have great recreational activities such as camping, golfing and our ever popular spray park. There is always something to see and enjoy in the RM of Pipestone, ”says Chalmers. “We are very excited to present this ‘Pick Pipestone Campaign’ and I hope everyone enjoys staying connected with the video series. ”

The Pick Pipestone campaign can be viewed on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
