NU TV Public Service Announcements Recognized at International Creative Advertising Awards | Nebraska today

“Momentum” and “Sun”, the institutional program of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln TV spots, were awarded the Muse Creative Advertising Awards by an international jury of industry professionals.

The Muse Awards are a global competition where entrants’ work is reviewed by a panel of renowned advertisers, artists and creative directors. The two from Nebraska Message of public interests have been honored alongside the work of Firefox, Texaco, Warner Bros. and other well-known brands.

“Sun,” which received a Gold Muse award, showcases the relentless spirit of Husker Nation, reminding everyone that Nebraska never backs down from a challenge. “Momentum,” which won a silver award, tells the story of Nebraska’s upward trajectory. It highlights the innovative, forward-thinking mindset of Husker students, faculty, and staff, and their groundbreaking research, outreach, and learning.

The creative team behind the spots sought to showcase Nebraska’s unique qualities, striking a balance between cutting-edge work and timeless attitude.

The spots were produced in-house using talent from University Communications and Marketing and Academic Services Enrollment Management.

“Momentum” and “Sun” can be broadcast on television at Husker athletics events or found here alongside other selected video projects led by University Communication and Marketing.
