N-able seeks to fill gaps in MSP marketing

N-able has become the latest player in the managed services space to recognize the need for increased marketing support for Managed Service Providers (MSPs).

The idea that MSPs need sales and marketing support has been around for some time, with Datto making it a focal point at one of its partner events in London in 2019.

Continuing this theme, N-able – formerly SolarWinds MSP – launched its MarketBuilder platform to arm MSPs with campaigns they can quickly market.

“After speaking with our MSP partners, many reported that they spend most of their time running their business, leaving them little time to focus on growing,” said Kevin Bury, Director of Customer Service. at N-able. “We knew straight away that we could help them with their marketing activity, which is an essential part of their business.

“MarketBuilder provides MSPs with the tools and resources they need to effectively market their business, helping them generate and close leads while providing a way for them to stay in touch with prospects and customers. “

MarketBuilder will provide MSPs with a guide to speaking with customers and prospects, ideas for social media, email campaigns, sell sheets and microsites to support a specific marketing activity.

N-able has made sure the platform is ready to go, with users sending over 40,000 emails and posting 6,000 social media posts in the past six months.

The company shared the thoughts of a partner who used the service, David Woodruff, president of Connectivity Systems, who has had some success using the platform: “Using the MarketBuilder platform, with its content and its professional campaigns, we have seen digital double- growth in our security and backup service offerings.

At the same time, N-able said he has deepened his team of Head Nerds to provide more internal support for partners. Stefanie Hammond has become Head of Nerd Sales and Marketing, Lewis Pope is now Head of Nerd Security and Jason Murphy is Chief N-Central Nerd.

“Our Head Nerds are deeply dedicated to our partners’ success, which is why we continue to expand the team to provide MSPs with a wider range of knowledge and perspectives they can learn from to help their business succeed. Said Mike Cullen, group vice president. -president, partner empowerment, N-capable.

“Our new advocates are now ready and available, offering online training and valuable one-on-one consultations to advise our MSPs on how to grow their business. “
