TORONTO, Sep 29, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – iSIGN Media Solutions Inc. (“iSIGN” or “Company”) (TSX-V: ISD) (OTC: ISDSF), a leading provider of mobile proximity marketing interactive and security alert solutions announced changes to management and board of directors.
The Board of Directors accepted Bruce Reilly’s resignation as CFO of iSIGN and appointed Bob MacBean in his place.
The board added David Beck and Alex Romanov as new directors of iSIGN and accepted the resignations of Bruce Reilly and Mark Thimmig, both of whom resigned due to the demands of their other activities.
These changes came into effect on September 21, 2021.
The board has accepted Gregory Wade as the new director of iSIGN and appointed Joe Kozar as interim CEO, both effective September 29, 2021.
The brief biographies of all parties are:
Joe Kozar previously served as CEO of iSIGN from March 1, 2017 to February 22, 2021. Joe’s background is in the field of technology. He has been and is involved with many high tech companies covering a wide range of solutions. His training is in the field of engineering, his main focus being electronic design. Joe sits on several boards of directors and is involved in venture capital investing. Joe has agreed to take on the interim CEO role while iSIGN is looking for someone to fill the full time CEO role.
Bob MacBean has extensive experience in creating and building successful national and international, public and private businesses. He has experience in many industries including venture capital, SaaS, software development, and investment banking. He has developed, implemented and managed strategies balancing growth, profitability, scalability, cost control and performance. Bob is a director and officer of Environmental Waste International Inc., a reporting issuer on the TSX Venture Exchange. Bob is a CPA, CMA Certified Management Accountant and has served on the iSIGN Board of Directors since March 6, 2019.
Alex Romanov assumed his current role at iSIGN as Strategic Advisor to the CEO on August 20, 2021. Alex has served iSIGN since November 2007, in a variety of roles including CEO and Director. He is an accomplished business leader who is accustomed to identifying opportunities and turning them into high growth, profitable businesses. Alex has diverse experience in a variety of industries including the National Sales Director at Motorola; Chairman and CEO of Alpine Electronics; Founder and CEO of Royal Oak Marketing, with revenue of $ 120 million per year, which was sold for $ 29 million and Founder and CEO of Spherex, which was sold for 5 millions of dollars.
David Beck is currently the director of a specialist consulting firm, Sprout Capital Corp., which focuses on bringing resources to innovative growth companies. Most recently, Mr. Beck was CEO and President of 3 Sixty Secure Corp., a security services company with approximately 300 employees. Mr. Beck’s previous experience has mainly focused on public and private capital markets. Public equity background includes: Head of TMT Investment Banking (Technology, Media, Telecommunications) with several boutique investment brokers, and a consistently leading technology financial analyst based in New York and Toronto. Private Equity Experience includes: Partner, Celtic House Venture Partners, as well as personal financial investments and advisory services to around 20 private growth companies. He is currently Director and President of the Deal Desk at DGTL Holdings Inc. (DGTL-TSXV). Previous roles on the board of directors of a public company include 3 Sixty Secure Corp., Basis100 Inc., CRS Robotics Corporation, Pivot Technology Solutions Inc. and World Class Extractions Inc. Mr. Beck holds an MBA (Dean’s List) from Ivey Business School (University of Western Ontario) and an Honors BA in Engineering Physics from Queen’s University.
Gregory Wade is currently Managing Partner at NextBase Consultants. He has over 30 years of corporate leadership experience in multinational environments, helping businesses grow through expansion, partnerships and innovative solutions. He founded NextBase Consultants and is the Managing Partner responsible for leading the company’s high-level engagement with global technology partners spanning industries such as telecommunications, cybersecurity, information and communications technology and transportation. Greg holds an MBA with a specialization in Marketing from the Schulich School of Business. He is a volunteer board member of big data analytics company AfterData.ai and digital marketing agency Dreamline Digital.
