How the co-owner of T1 Advertising organizes his day for success

Dimetri Hogan knew the importance of a digital presence for entrepreneurs long before influencers rose to prominence and some started earning more than America’s top CEOs.

“In today’s world, a person’s first digital impression is priceless,” Hogan, 29, told Insider.

agency T1 Advertising, which made $1 million in revenue last year, according to documents seen by Insider. Additionally, Hogan aims to double that number by 2022. Hogan joined T1 Advertising in 2018, five years after Thomas Herd launched the business. Hogan started as chief creative officer and entered into a joint venture partnership with Herd before buying a minority stake in the company last year.

As senior vice president, Hogan manages the company’s day-to-day operations, develops new strategies and guides consumers through T1’s services. Most of the company’s clients request the industry-leading plan package — which costs between $12,000 and $15,000 per month — and involves Hogan’s team building a brand’s online presence by working with media partners, influencers and others, Hogan said.

“Entrepreneurs started doing their homework and realized the value of a strong digital presence,” Hogan said. “Being able to shine a light on what makes them or their business unique is key to standing out.”

T1 Advertising has offices in London, Monaco, New York, Miami and Los Angeles, although the majority of the company’s clients are based in US cities. T1 is experiencing a customer boom in Texas and Chicago, and Hogan wants to expand to Dubai, UAE, and Capri, Italy in the next few years.

With such an international job, Hogan spends a lot of time jet-setting and meeting new and existing clients to ensure the successful execution of his company’s marketing strategies. He also often serves as the creative director for projects produced by his company.

For example, to help Japanese restaurant Nobu open in Istanbul last year, T1 hired model Candice Swanepoel to make an appearance and share it with her 16 million Instagram followers. For the Liquid Death drink, he asked rapper Soulja Boy to do a TikTok promoting the product.

Hogan showed Insider what a typical day looks like for him. He often works remotely, and that day was in Dubai, where he led his US-based team, attended client meetings at exclusive social clubs, and raised early alarm to fly the next morning.
