Meet the founder:

Mario Sarceno was born in Los Angeles to parents who immigrated from Central America. He grew up in Texas, where in college he was bullied. It showed him what it was like to be an underdog and reinforced in him a dedication to people who feel less than they are. This is largely what prompted him to go on a mission trip to Chile, where he spoke to people every day and did his best to help them in spiritual ways. Mormonism has been an integral part of Sarceno’s life, and having this opportunity to connect with people through his faith has been a great experience for him. He was sort of a life coach, helping people realize what they could accomplish in their lives and how they could best live their fulfillment. When Sarceno returned to America, he attended Brigham Young University in Rexburg, Idaho, where he studied advertising and communications. Here he met a girl and he moved to Torrance, California so that he could live closer to her. Soon he got acquainted with digital marketing and got interested in digital marketing while making money in the gig work industry. He bumped into his mentor Michael in January 2020, who helped him discover both his monetary and entrepreneurial potential, even as he was in an outsider position, working job-to-job in an expensive state like California. Sarceno had always been in favor of the underdog, however, since his time in Texas he found that with this coaching he was able to take root and explore this entrepreneurial option in digital marketing and communications. It was then that he decided to switch to Outbrand.
