Facebook announces marketing analysis sessions for advertising week


Ad Week will be held in New York next week, and Facebook will be a part of it, with a series of sessions covering various aspects of digital marketing, which you can explore through Facebook’s dedicated Ad Week mini-site. .

As you can see here, the various Facebook Advertising Week sessions will be broadcast via the site, and there are some interesting discussions planned, which may well be worth listening to.

These include:

  • Explore the new frontiers of creativity: The future of connection is rewritten every day: people connect to each other, businesses and culture in new and innovative ways. Nicky Bell, Vice President, Global Head of Facebook’s Creative Store, will explore how people-driven creativity is shaping the future of marketing.
  • The future of shopping: Businesses can exceed the expectations of today’s buyers by taking advantage of the latest technology. Gene Alston, Facebook Vice President of Commerce, will speak with Salima Popatia, Senior Vice President of Online Customer Acquisition and Retention at The Estée Lauder Companies, to discuss how they made it through this new frontier, from direct purchases to product drops.
  • The critical role of creators in advertising: The growing democratization of creativity and attention is redefining how taste makers are created and how influence is earned. Alvin Bowles, Facebook Vice President of Business Ecosystem Partnerships, will speak with Dara Treseder, Peloton’s Director of Marketing and Communications, about the Creator Ecosystem.

More creative approaches, direct buying, influencer marketing – these are all key trends, which have the potential to change your approach, in alignment with the broader shift to e-commerce and the changing ways in which social platforms are used.

Each session will include inside information and notes from the Facebook team, and they could be a good way to learn more about the latest trends and changes in usage, to broaden your thinking.
