I received a BFA in Studio Art and a minor in Art History at Florida State University. My BFA studies emphasized traditional sculpture, drawing, printmaking and painting. At the end of each semester a committee of professors accessed my creative process. The faculty review included a showing of all my work to date. The intensity was high knowing that the committee had the power to keep you in the program or throw you out. This encouraged me to continually develop my skill and keep my competitive spirit high.

As an artist I feel it is essential to work in different sizes and mediums; from 3 by 5 cards to Murals to oils to digital tablets. One of my three Macintosh computers fit in just perfectly. I treat my computer as just another tool in my arsenal of art supplies. Just like a paintbrush, just like 25 pounds of clay.
